Port of Genoa – Opera D

The project involves the extension of the outfitting quay, with a geometry designed to maximize the length of the vessels that can berth there. GP is contributing to the project by supplying prestressed reinforced concrete components as part of the works carried out by RCM Costruzioni srl on behalf of the OVERTURNING S.c.a.r.l. consortium. The supply includes prestressed beams and floor slabs, *predalles* (lattice girder planks), panels for the quay edge formation, and prestressed V-beams for the construction of the connecting pier. All components are manufactured using concrete with an XS3 exposure class and hot-dip galvanized reinforcement to ensure maximum strength and durability in a marine environment. This is an ambitious project taking shape through dedicated teamwork.
