Santa Maria Novella Station Square Car Park

The design of this project had to address the need to redefine the environmental and functional quality of a public space which, in the history of the city’s urban development, has represented one of the most significant hubs due to its role as a focal point for economic activities and, consequently, for both public and private traffic. Achieving this objective was also constrained by the requirement to respect the aesthetic character of the square designed by Michelucci. The solution adopted therefore meets the requirements related to the reorganization of urban mobility and the redevelopment of the Santa Maria Novella station. The project was carried out using precast concrete solutions selected to ensure construction efficiency, rapid installation, and structural reliability. These solutions enabled optimization of construction phases and ensured high-quality standards throughout the execution of the project.
